Description

In October 2017, the Ypsilanti District Library launched TALK: Text and Learn for Kindergarten, an early literacy text messaging service, with LSTA grant funding. With the support of community partners, the successful project reached over 1,000 families across Washtenaw County via text, offering activities parents could do with children 5 and under to prepare them for school and beyond. Find out more about this pilot project that may become available to libraries statewide in 2021.
