Conflict is a fact of life, but in a library, board conflict or board/director conflict can ripple through the institution and cause damage that can take years to repair. This webinar will discuss common causes of library conflict and present strategies to combat, mitigate and solve issues before they turn into library-wide, or community-wide problems.

Each month, Library Law Spotlight webinar focuses on a legal topic currently affecting Michigan libraries.

-The history and background of the legal issue
-The Federal, State & Local laws affectiing the issue
-Tips /resources for a library on dealing with the issue and devising policies (if necessary).
